Best of all were the owners, who provided exceptional hospitality and really went the extra mile to accommodate us. We needed to have a rental car back to Paris by 11 AM, so, even though breakfast is not normally served until 7:00, the owner got up extra early and laid out a terrific breakfast for us so we could get on our way before 7:00. I wish we had spent more time here than just one hurried evening. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Perfect location to explore Bernkastel, only few minutes walk into the centre. High quality finish in both the room and the reception/bar. Sekt on arrival was a lovely gesture. Very comfortable and large bed, slept extremely well. Shower and bathroom area was well presented. Ample storage for suitcases and clothes. Mini bar was stocked with wine selection and fruitsecco, for no extra cost :) We were travelling with our dog, there was already a waterbowl provided along with quality treats and poop bags - very much appreciated! Staff were very welcoming at reception, both for check in and also evening drinks at the bar.

The location was perfect for my bike tour on the Mosel. Love the historic building. Over all I would highly recommend and would stay again. Breakfast was great although I don't eat much before riding.

This hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. Everywhere smells really nice. The hosts are the most lovely and helpful people. They were always thoughtful about our needs but never invasive. It's suprisingly big since It's a redone house. You get your own key and can come and go as you like. There are about 25 rooms with a shared lounge where you can grab snacks and drinks and just write what you took on a bit of paper. There is no fridge or coffeemaker in the room itself, but we didn't miss it. The shared coffee maker is excellent and prices are cheap. Nearby are at least two good restaurants (next door and Frisch Fritz) at walking distance. Plenty of free parking around. It's the perfect location to visit everything in the area. Breakfast is fabulous and from 8.30 till 10. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!
